Tell us about the best holiday you've gone on this summer until now. Answer the following questions:
  • Where did you go?
  • Who did you go with?
  • What did you do?
  • Why did you like it?
  • Would you recommend it to a friend?
For 1º and 2ºESO, this post should only be 80-150 words long. For 3º to 1ºBach, it should be 120-180. Keep in mind, you should be using your past tenses.

In june I went to Paris , (France) .I went with my family and we went four days to Disneyland .The other days we went to the capital to saw the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower .I like it because I think it is a very beautiful city and because I like going abroad .I recommend to other people because it is a good experience and there you can study new idioms like french .It spent 3 days by car to go there but it is not a problem because i like very much.

Hi Luis!

I've never been to Disneyland. How were the lines? What was your favorite ride? Did you practice the language often?

See you soon!

I went to Malaga and Huelva.... I went there with my parents and with my favourite cousin María :) at the moment she is spending all summer with me, so I am so so happy.
In Malaga and in Huelva we always went to the beach in the morning and to the swimming pool in the afternoon, was good... We also went a lot of times to the amusment park ,to the cinema, some parties and shopping...
I like it because I had a great time there, we spend in the beach about a whole month. And of course I recommend this kind of holidays to my friends, it's a way to relax and have good time in summer, and of course get a brunette skin!
Now my cousin and I are in my house, but we will do another travells on this holidays (:

At the beginning of August I went to the Canary Islands with a friend. We spent one week on the southern coast of the island of Tenerife. While we were there, we rented a car and went to various cities around the island. We drove on this really crazy highway in a town called Masca. Then I saw an old tree called the Drago in Icod de los Vinos. To get back to the south, we drove through Las Cañadas National Park and I got to see Spain's highest peak, the Teide, up close, though we didn't get to go to the top since the cable car was closed. I really liked the island because there were a lot of things to do and because I got to have a taste of back home without actually going there. There are a lot of British and American restaurants on Tenerife, as well as some great Canary restaurants where you can get amazing roasted chicken.

MY SUMMER GOAL

This summer has been in general a good summer for me.

In July I was here in Madrid (Pozuelo de Alarcón), having fun at the pool. The first 2 weeks I signed for a tennis club to do a special training for five hours a day, I had a lot of fun and, I was practising my favourite sport: tennis.

The first week of August I went to an inland summer camp: Ávila, where I could enjoy nature and have fun with my siblings and friends.

But I must admit that my summer goal has been to pass the subjects that I failed.

August has been quite a tough month because I had to go to an academy in the mornings and study a lot for the whole afternoons and evenings. It has not been funny at all.

However, I think there is always something to learn about and, in my case, it has made me think. I could conclude that, it has been a teaching for me and I have realized that it is better to study all my subjects in the winter time and have the summer free of homework and exams. Seeing all my friends around having fun at the beach or here in our community, swimming in the mornings and going out in the evenings while I was studying hard, it has not been very pleasant.

I must admit I have started this essay writing it has been "in general a good summer", and, I still think it has been like that. In the first part of the summer I had a lot of fun however, the second part has been quite tough but, despite all, it has been a teaching lesson for me that has made me think, be aware and watch out for the next course 2013/2014, which just starting in a couple of weeks.
